How to log in digital BLCU?

I. URL: ehall.blcu.edu.cn  (or i.blcu.edu.cn)

Click “我的北语 (My BLCU)” to log in, or click “Log in” in the upper right corner to enter account and password. The account is your student ID number, and the original password is the last 6 digits of your birthday.

To ensure the security of your account, please change the initial password as soon as possible after the first log in.

 

 

II. Binding log in:

Students can bind their own QQ or Wechat, after that you can easily log in via scanning the QR code (you need to bind your QQ or Wechat according to the prompt when using for the first time).

 

Note: You can check some new features after logging in. If the browser buffers, you can try to clear the cache and refresh the page.

 

III. Services

Students can finish lots of applications via the online service center without leaving home. You can search everything at the top search area by keywords, name or classification.

 

 

You can also add your frequently used applications to your Favorites. Just put the mouse on the application, the system will automatically prompt to “Add to favorites”

 

 

 

I. How to log in BLCU VPN?

I. Procedures:

1.For students living at campus, enter http://webvpn.blcu.edu.cn, then you can see the home page. For students living off campus, you can click “BLCU VPN” below the home page of BLCU official website (http://www.blcu.edu.cn).

2.Enter the account and password (similar with digital BLCU) at the input box to log in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. How to check your grades: If you lives off-campus and cannot use the campus network, you can click “Digital BLCU” and navigate to the academic affairs system.

4. How to stop/change the campus network package outside the school: Click on the campus network self-service, enter your account and password of the campus network, and you can enter the user self-service system. You can do it at home, whether report to stop, make an appointment, change the package or pay the fee!

 

 

5.You can access the aforementioned resources by entering the website address, or refer to the relevant web pages of the library.

 

II. Notes:

 

1.The user account can only be used in this vpn system. When visiting CNKI and other websites at home or off campus, you should log in to the VPN system first, and then click the corresponding resource list. The website account and password cannot be used to directly log in to related resource websites. Campus network and this vpn system cannot be simultaneously used.

2.Multi-terminal login is not allowed for the same account, that is to say, one account can only log in to one device at the same time.

3.Please take care of your account and password, and do not disclose it to others.

4.Users should strictly abide by the relevant regulations of the school and the related laws and administrative regulations of the state.

III. How to access library online resources?

 

I. Digital resources online resources

 

During the epidemic prevention and control period, our library provides online digital academic resources for teachers and students. If you have any difficulties and problems in using digital resources, please do not hesitate to contact us: Teacher Liu, email: 75886625@qq.com.

 

II. Academic services

If you need to search or cite academic resources, please refer to the following methods:

1. Follow the wechat official account of Beijing Language and Culture University Library(北京语言大学图书馆)

 

 

2. Click the academic service(学科服务)after entering the official account.

 

 

3. Click the “定题服务”(主题检索)or “查收查引” according to your own needs, and fill in the relevant information according to the guidance contents.

 

 

4.The results of paper collection and citation retrieval will be sent to the applicants’ mailbox electronically.

Note: retrieval requests for thesis topic will be responded 7-10 days, and that for paper citation and collection will be certified 3-5 days (in case there is a long waiting list, the principle of “early come early served” will be applied).

 

III. BALIS: system for inter-library borrowing and delivery of original text

BALIS is the acronym for Beijing Academic Library & Information System, with the aim to assisting borrowers have free access to various archives and resources which are not in current possession of the Library of BLCU, covering a wide range from magazines and news papers, sections of a book to degree thesis and conference papers.

Due to the covid-19, the Library of BLCU has launched the BALIS system to do their utmost to meet the archival needs for the majority of the faculty and students. You can just log onto http://202.112.118.46/balis/reader/index.jsp to register as a user and send your request together with a photo or scanned version of your campus card to the designated email address. The permission will be granted after the administrator from the Library reviews and authorizes your qualification.
