Under the leadership of the Department of International Student Affairs at Beijing Language and Culture University, the Association for International Understanding (AIU) is a leading student organization at BLCU, which aims to promote exchanges and mutual help between international and Chinese students. For international students, AIU commits itself to providing them with better services, helping them fully understand Chinese traditions and culture and encouraging them actively to take part in campus activities. We aim at creating a sense of belonging for international students when they study at BLCU. For Chinese students, they will understand and accept different cultures and broaden their horizon and exercise integrated skills when they organize various activities and be a part of management system.
